Life Is About Growing



You've Learned A Lot





Take the age you are now and divide the number in half. Notice how between then and now how much you have grown. As adults it's important to recognize that we are still growing. We can help that process by noticing how our experiences up to now have influenced our thoughts, feelings and behavior. For example if you were betrayed by someone in the past, then trusting might be challenging. That's okay and can be healthy in terms of requiring trustworthy actions that match someone's words. But if that betrayal has understandably closed you off, we learn to make adjustments so we can heal and move on.



You Are Still Learning





Relationships are how we learn. Whether it's through an interaction with a partner, family member, co-worker, neighbor, sales clerk, or someone on the road.

It's how our stuff gets triggered. It shows us where we still have room to grow.

In terms of the 7 Major Chakras it's how we learn to:

1 Root = Re-balance, Re-center

2 Sacral = Get Unstuck, Be More fluid

3 Solar = Feel Empowered

4 Heart = Love & Be Loved Fully

5 Throat = Be Confident

6 Third Eye = Access Inner Wisdom

7 Crown = Trust & Shine Light


All of which are vital to living a less stressful, more fulfilling life.



Be Kind To Yourself





As we continue the learning process as an adult, we learn things like how to:

Let go of the past

Live in the present moment

Manage our moods

Self-soothe in healthy ways

Notice what we are feeling


Whether we are experiencing anger, sadness, anxiety, or whatever, it is helpful to remember that emotions are part of the human journey. So be kind to yourself about whatever you are feeling. But also contemplate upon what you'd prefer to feel. Maybe you have a job where you feel unappreciated. Or you're in a relationship where you feel unheard. Deciding that you want to feel appreciated or heard is the first step to creating that.



Transpersonal Psychology





I help you unearth what you are feeling, what you would prefer to feel, and how to map out a pathway to it. One way I help you accomplish this is by helping you connect with your inner self. Transpersonal Psychology means Beyond the Personal. And like yoga connects us with a greater sense of self. I refer to it as our inner wisdom. It is the domain of the intuitive portion of our brain. You know this space. We all have experiences of it. Maybe you access it through listening to music, walking in nature, or doing yoga. It feels like a pause, a sense of grace. It feels expansive and lighter. Within that space there is information that can guide you forward.



What to Expect in a Session





Usually in times of stress our analytical mind is overthinking. And can block access to our intuitive processing. So at the beginning of our phone session I help you relax with a five minute guided meditation. It's basically like the start of a yoga class where you become centered on your breath. Exhaling out the heaviness, and creating space so you can breathe in more lightness. That way you'll have a clearer mind. And be able to access your inner guidance better. Then we talk and unravel the essence of what's going on in your life. Deciding what you can learn from it and how to move forward with a greater sense of peace. The session then concludes with an oracle card reading. After which I will email you notes from the session and the messages from the oracle cards.

I offer tele-health counseling sessions which are conducted over the phone, without video which helps people relax and get more comfy since we aren't staring at each other on a screen.
